The mandolin is an essential piece of kitchen equipment for the serious cook and is ideal when preparing vegetables for stir-frying, salads or for making French fries.
The sharp cutting edge will slice fruit and vegetables wafer thin, medium or thick and a variety of julienne blades will shred in two thicknesses and produce julienne strips with ease. It is made from durable plastic with five different stainless steel blades. The Mandolin slicer is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
Unlike many other mandolins, this one has been very carefully designed, with safety as one of its most important features with a non-slip base which folds away for space saving storage. Food is held securely in a special holder with a large guard so that fingertips and knuckles are protected.
Simple to make decorative garnishes or slices/julienne strips/waffle cuts before cooking. It comes with 5 different blades available in the set (3 x julienne, 1 x slicing, 1 x waffle cut).
